The Hobart College tennis team downed visiting Oneonta 9-0 in its first match of 2015. The Statesmen improve to 3-0 on the season.

Luke DeLuccia closed out the doubles portion of the match with an 8-4 victory.

Fields collected his second win of the day at No. 2 singles. He bested Mackenzie Park of Oneonta 6-1, 6-0. After a couple of long points, Rusk clinched the match for the Statesmen winning at No. 1, 6-0, 6-2. First-year
Miles Singer continued Hobart's dominance winning 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot. With the match in hand, DePrima and first-year
Colin Marker's matches went to tiebreaking third sets. DePrima bested Cole Laffitte 6-4 in the first set, Laffitte took the second set 2-6 and DePrima finished his match off with a 10-6 victory in the tiebreak. Marker dropped his first set 6-3, before winning 6-2 in set two and 10-5 in the tiebreak. Â Nichols won at No. 6, 6-0, 6-1.
