BRONX, N.Y. -Â The Hobart College tennis team was topped 6-3 by New York University at the Stadium Tennis Center in the Bronx, New York. With the win, the Violets improve to 1-3 on the season, while the loss drops the Statesmen to 8-3.

Matt DePrima notched a three set victory at No. 5 singles. He defeated Matt DeMichiel 6-4, 2-6, 10-4. With the win, DePrima improves to 6-4 on the season. First year
Miles Singer won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6 to improve to 13-6 on the year. Singer's 13 wins are a team-high.
Hobart will return to the court on Thursday, April 2, when they travel to Rochester. The match with the Yellowjackets is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
