The William Smith lacrosse game against Nazareth on Saturday, March 7, will now be played at home on Boswell Field at noon. The Herons were originally scheduled to travel to play a non-league game at Nazareth, but poor field conditions due to the winter weather caused the game time and location to be changed.
 
Fans unable to make it to Boswell Field can follow the action online with Live Stats and All-Access Video. The game will also be broadcast live on WHWS-FM (105.7 in Geneva).
 
The Herons dropped their season opener to Hamilton College, in a game that was also moved to Boswell Field on Wednesday. Sophomore Allie Flaherty leads the team with three goals. Senior Halyley Braun has picked up a team-high five ground balls.
 
Saturday's game will be the season opener for the Golden Flyers. Nazareth was scheduled to host Brockport on Wednesday, but that game was postponed.
