Herons to host Skidmore, RPI, honor Pat Genovese this weekend

The William Smith College lacrosse team will complete its regular season schedule hosting Skidmore and Rensselaer on Boswell Field this weekend. On Saturday, April 25, the Herons will also honor coaching legend Pat Genovese.

William Smith will take on the Thoroughbreds on Friday, April 24 at 4 p.m., and then host the Engineers on Saturday, April 25, at 4 p.m. On Saturday, the William Smith athletic department will honor Genovese with a pregame ceremony starting at approximately 3:55 p.m. After nearly 44 years of serving the Colleges as a teacher, coach, mentor, administrator and fundraiser, Genovese announced that she will retire on June 4. There will also be a postgame reception in the tent next to Boswell Field, catered by Dana's Time Out. Please RSVP to Morgan Achilles (Machilles@hws.edu), by Friday, April 24, if you plan to attend.
