Herons close out regular season against Bates

The William Smith College squash team fell 7-2 to Bates in a match played at the Smith Squash Center on Sunday, Feb. 14. It was the Herons' final regular season match.
 
William Smith, ranked No. 26 in the latest College Squash Association Rankings, is now 15-8 overall, while the No. 18 Bobcats improve to 9-10 this year.
 
First-year Madison Bradley won at the No. 3 spot (11-6, 11-8, retired). Junior Brooke Hayes defeated her Bates opponent 11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 11-2.
 
The Herons will be back in action Feb. 19-21 when they compete in the College Squash Association Team Championships in New Haven, Conn.
