The William Smith College squash team improved to 4-0 overall this season with 8-1 wins over Colgate and Vassar today in the Colgate Round Robin in Hamilton, N.Y.

Gabby Fraser notched an 11-3, 11-2, 11-1 win at the top spot. First-year
Jo Pacheco defeated her Colgate opponent 11-8, 11-7, 11-2 in her first collegiate action. Senior
Cashel McCarthy won 11-3, 11-7, 11-6 at No. 3, and classmate
Anna Worcester rallied for a 11-13, 11-8, 11-6, 11-7 win at No. 4. First-year
Kira Tejeda triumphed 11-6, 11-7, 11-2 at No. 5. At the No. 6 spot, senior
Peyton Capute registered an 11-6, 11-6, 11-4 victory. Sophomore
Maddie Saiontz won 11-3, 12-10, 11-2 at No. 7, and junior
Stacy Avigail Maceda topped her opponent 11-3, 11-2, 12-10 at No. 8. Colgate won by forfeit at No. 9.

In the win over the Brewers, Fraser secured an 11-8, 12-10, 11-9 victory at No. 1. Pacheco earned an 11-8, 11-7, 11-7 win at No. 2, and McCarthy defeated her Vassar opposition 12-10, 11-6, 11-7 at No. 3. Worcester won 12-10, 11-6, 11-7 at No. 4, and Tejeda came back for a 7-11, 11-6, 11-4, 11-5 win at No. 5. Capute posted an 11-7, 11-1, 11-7 victory at No. 6. Saiontz produced a 12-10, 11-7, 7-11, 11-5 win at No. 7 and Maceda rallied for an 8-11, 11-8, 11-5, 11-4 win at No. 8. The Brewers also won by forfeit at the No. 9 spot.
