EWING, N.J.- The Hobart College tennis team was defeated by The College of New Jersey 6-3 in a non-conference match this afternoon. The loss drops the Statesmen to 4-3 on the year while the nationally-ranked Lions improve to 7-1 on the year.

Alan Dubrovsky defeated TCNJ's Mitchel Sanders and Matt Puig 8-5 at the top of the lineup. The Lions won 8-4 and 8-5 at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Dubrovsky improved to 9-4 in his rookie campaign with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Omar Bokhari at No. 3 singles. Dubrovsky is 7-3 in his last 10 matches. Senior
Danny Kot won his fourth straight match with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Mike Stanley at No. 6. Kot improves to 7-1 on the year, including a 4-0 mark in dual matches. Junior
Harry Nichols went to three sets with Chris D'Agostino at No. 4 singles but was edged 5-7, 7-6 (11-9), 7-5.

Hobart will be back in action on Wednesday, March 29, when it hosts Division II Roberts Wesleyan. The Statesmen home opener is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
