The No. 18 William Smith College lacrosse team will travel to take on Rochester in a Liberty League game on Saturday, April 21. The opening draw at Fauver Stadium is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
Saturday's game marks the 43rd meeting between William Smith and Rochester. The Herons hold a 39-3 advantage in the series that dates back to 1976. William Smith is 16-2 when playing the Yellowjackets in Rochester.

The Herons have won three straight games and are now 10-4 overall and 7-1 in the Liberty League. Senior Melissa Moore, the current Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week, leads the team with 33 goals, 13 assists, 46 points and 31 ground balls. First-year Mekayla Montgomery has a team-high 21 caused turnovers and 41 draws. First-year Jules Kennedy has played the most minutes in goal for William Smith. She has a 6.56 goals against average, a .528 save percentage and a 7-2 record.
 
Rochester brings a 4-7 overall record and a 4-4 mark in the Liberty League into the game. The Yellowjackets are riding a four-game win streak and are coming off a 10-5 win at Union last Saturday. Jamison Seabury leads the team with 30 points on 25 goals and five assists. Seabury and Conley Ernst lead the way with 24 ground balls. Seabury and Sarah Jahnige each have a team-high 13 caused turnovers. Madeline Mulholand leads the way with 51 draws. Ernst has played the most minutes in goal. She is sporting a 10.90 goals against average, a .474 save percentage and a 4-7 record.
