Hobart College first-year Sam Cuddeback was named the Liberty League Men's Golf Performer of the Week by the league office today.
 
Competing in his first tournament of the spring season, Cuddeback tied for third place in the Myrtle Beach Tournament. At the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort, he shot an eight over 80, finishing just four shots off the lead. Cuddeback's round included two birdies and nine pars.
 
Cuddeback has played in nine of Hobart's 11 rounds this season. He's third on the team in scoring average (84.1).
 
As a team, Hobart was third in the Myrtle Beach Tournament, finishing eight strokes behind second place Clarke.
 
The Statesmen will return to the links on April 10, when they compete in the Keuka Spring Invitational at Lakeside Country Club.
