The William Smith College lacrosse team hosts two Liberty League contests on Boswell Field at David J Urick Stadium this weekend. The Herons, who are ranked No. 18 in this week's IWLCA poll, take on Clarkson on Friday, April 5, at 4 p.m. before facing St. Lawrence on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m.

The Golden Knights bring a 5-4 overall record and a 2-1 mark in conference play into Friday's game. Clarkson has won its last three games, including a 16-12 win over Vassar on March 30. The Golden Knights are led offensively by Sydney Roderick, who has 13 goals and 22 assists for 35 points. Katie Sergeant has a team best 22 goals this season. Aubrey Borgesi is right behind her with 20 goals. Abby Collins leads the team with 22 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. Jaid Baytos has won 35 draws. Samantha Gladd has played a majority of the minutes in goal. She is 3-3 with a 12.01 GAA and a .426 save percentage.

Friday's meeting will be the 19th between William Smith and Clarkson. The Herons lead the all-time series 16-2 and are 8-1 against the Golden Knights in Geneva. Clarkson handed William Smith its lone loss in Liberty League play last year, edging the Herons 9-4 in Potsdam, N.Y.

The Saints bring a 2-6 overall record and a 1-2 mark in conference play into this weekend's action. St. Lawrence will be at Ithaca on Friday afternoon. Kylie Murphy leads the team with 23 points on 16 goals and 23 assists. Alexandra LaMotte leads the team with 18 goals. Olga Lukas has grabbed a team-high 21 ground balls. Isabel Silva leads the team with 13 caused turnovers and 23 draws. Lukas has played every minute in goal. She has a 13.25 GAA and a .401 save percentage.

Saturday's game will be the 49th meeting between the Herons and Saints. William Smith leads the series 33-15 and is on a six-game winning streak. The Herons are 18-7 against St. Lawrence in Geneva.
