The 17th-ranked William Smith College lacrosse team will take on Clarkson this weekend in a pair of Liberty League contests.

The Herons will host the front end of the home-and-home series on Friday, April 9, at 4 p.m. Fans can follow the action on
HWS All-Access and with
Live Stats. The game will also be broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7). The teams will travel to Potsdam, N.Y., on Saturday, April 10, for a 2 p.m. opening draw. The contest will be
webcast with live video and
stats on Clarkson's site.

This weekend marks the 20th and 21st all-time meetings between William Smith and Clarkson. The Herons lead the all-time series 17-2, including a 9-1 mark on Boswell Field. Since 2016, the series has been deadlocked with both teams winning twice. This will be the first time William Smith and the Golden Knights have met twice in a season.

The Herons enter the weekend with a 2-3 overall record with a 2-2 mark in Liberty League play. William Smith is looking to bounce back from a pair of losses to then No. 10 Ithaca last weekend. The Herons are led offensively by sophomore

Maddie Bamberger has played a majority of the minutes in goal. She is 2-2 with a 7.75 goals against average and a .508 save percentage. Bamberger ranks second in the Liberty League in both categories.

Clarkson enters the weekend with a 1-3 overall record. The Golden Knights are 0-1 in conference play after dropping their Liberty League opener to Vassar on Tuesday. Kyrsten Stone leads the team with 12 points on eight goals and four assists and has a team best seven caused turnovers. Grace Hagberg has a team leading nine goals and eight ground balls. Madelynn Barnum has won a team best 13 draws. Emily Fischer has played a majority of the minutes in goal and is 1-3 with a .355 save percentage and a 13.71 GAA.
