The start of the Liberty League Men's Tennis Championship Tournament has been pushed back to Thursday, May 6. No. 2 seeded Hobart will host No. 3 seeded Skidmore at 1 p.m. at the HWS Tennis Center.
The tournament semifinals were originally scheduled for Wednesday, but rain in the forecast prompted organizers to delay the start by one day to give teams a better chance at playing outdoors at tennis-only facilities rather than inside on a multipurpose playing surface.
The Statesmen finished the regular season with a 6-1 record, 5-1 in Liberty League play. Skidmore was 4-1 overall, all against Liberty League competition.
