The nationally-ranked William Smith College lacrosse team's game against Bard College originally scheduled for Saturday, April 16, will now be played tomorrow, April 15, at 2 p.m. in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, due to an officials shortage.

The Herons improved to 11-1 overall on the year and 6-0 in Liberty League play with a 14-13 victory over nationally-ranked Ithaca on Wednesday. The Herons' seventh-straight victory was powered by
Allie McGinty's eight points on five goals and three assists.
Maddie Montgomery added a hat trick and a game-high six draw controls.

William Smith is led offensively by McGinty's 62 points and 38 assists. She leads the Liberty League in both categories. McGinty is 12th in the nation in total assists and 17th in assists per game (3.17). The Rumson, New Jersey, native has recorded a point in 13 straight games and produced a season-high eight points three times. In 12 games last season, McGinty logged a total of seven points.

Montgomery has a team-high 42 goals this year and is second on the team with 49 points. She needs nine goals to become the 25th Heron to score 100 career goals. Montgomery also leads the team in the draw circle, with 61 draw controls.
Molly Davis is right behind her with 57. Defensively,
Payton McMahon leads the team with 21 caused turnovers.
Kate Risley has a team-high 30 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers.

Maura Smeader has played a majority of the minutes in goal. She is 11-1 with a 7.36 goals against average and a .457 save percentage. Smeader is 16th in the nation in GAA.

The Raptors are 2-9 overall this season with a 0-6 record in conference play. Bard is looking to snap an eight-game losing streak. Sarah Child leads the team with 32 goals and 39 points. Rachael Yoder leads the team with 10 assists and 52 draw controls. Emma Heffron has brought in a team-leading 33 ground balls and has 18 caused turnovers. Roxanne Rouskas has played a majority of the minutes in goal. She is 2-6 with a 13.26 GAA and a .483 save percentage. Marth Pasatiemp has played more recently and is 0-3 with a 21.90 GAA and a .247 save percentage.

Friday's game will be the ninth meeting between William Smith and Bard. The Herons lead the all-time series 8-0, including a 3-0 mark at Bard. This will be the first match-up since March of 2019.
