The Hobart and William Smith Colleges tennis teams are back in action this weekend, April 9-10, for a pair of Liberty League matches. The Colleges will be in Canton, New York, to take on St. Lawrence Saturday. The Herons will play at noon and the Statesmen at 3 p.m. Sunday, HWS welcomes Union to Bristol Field House. The William Smith match will take place at 10 a.m. and the Hobart match will start at 2 p.m.

Sunday's match against Union will serve as HWS' USTA Campus Kids' Day. Kids of all ages are invited to Bristol Field House to support the HWS tennis teams. Pizza and prizes will be given to kids in attendance on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event is free to attend and is part of the USTA's Next Generation program. Next Generation is an effort to grow the game and get kids out on the courts having fun. In addition to the pizza and prizes. Head Coach
Tim Riskie will set up smaller nets for Kids 10 and under to play with members of the HWS and Union tennis teams.

Hobart enters the weekend with a 9-5 overall record and a 0-1 mark in conference play.
Hyat Oyer leads the team with a 12-3 overall record in singles play. He has primarily played in the bottom half of the ladder, posting a 3-0 record in the No. 4 spot.
Winter Fagerberg has played 12 matches in the No. 1 spot, posting a 6-6 record at the top of the ladder. In doubles play, the Statesmen are led by
Harry Lyu and
Troy Steiner who are 10-4 this year.

William Smith enters the weekend with a 3-7 overall record and a 0-1 mark in the Liberty League. The Herons are looking to snap a two-game losing streak. William Smith is led by

Isabelle Goings-Perrot who have 10 wins each. Bonomo is 10-8, including a 5-5 mark in the No. 1 spot. Goings-Perrot is 10-6 with a 6-4 mark in the No. 3 spot. Bonomo and
Audrey Camacho lead the team with a 7-7 mark in doubles play. They are 5-5 in the No. 1 spot.

St. Lawrence's men's team is 6-5 with a 2-2 mark in conference play. The Saints defeated Bard 9-0 last Saturday. St. Lawrence's women's team is 6-5 overall with a 2-3 record in Liberty League play. They also defeated the Raptors 9-0 last Saturday. Three different Saints have six wins in singles play.

Hobart is 24-18 against St. Lawrence, including an 8-6 record in the North Country. Hobart has won six straight matches in the series. St. Lawrence is 23-9 against William Smith, including a 9-5 record in the North Country.

The Dutchmen bring a 4-6 overall record and a 2-1 mark in conference play into Sunday's match. The Dutchwomen are 3-5 this spring with a 1-3 mark in conference play.

The Statesmen are 14-2 all-time against the Dutchmen and have won 11 straight matches. The Herons are 11-4 against the Dutchwomen, posting 10 straight victories. Â
