The Hobart College tennis team will host the Rochester Institute of Technology in a Liberty League midweek matchup on Tuesday, April 18, in Bristol Field House. First serve between the Statesmen and the Tigers is set for 4 p.m.

Hobart enters the week with a 12-4 overall record and a 4-1 record in conference play. The Statesmen are coming off a 7-2 win over No. 37 Vassar on Sunday.

Sean Pesin was named the Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week after clinching the victory for the Statesmen on Sunday. He defeated the No. 20 regionally ranked singles player, Fernando Bauermeister, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, for his seventh win in the No. 1 spot and fifth win over a regionally ranked opponent.

RIT enters the week with a 6-9 overall record and is 2-5 in the Liberty League. The Tigers are coming off a pair of losses after falling 8-1 to the University of Rochester on Thursday, and 6-3 to Union College on Saturday.
