Two members of the Hobart basketball team were recognized by the Liberty League for their outstanding play last week. First-year
Harrison Muntner was named the Rookie of the Week while sophomore
Allen Mordi earned a spot on the weekly honor roll.

The duo led the Statesmen to a 97-88 win at Rochester on Nov. 25. It marked the first time Hobart had won consecutive games over the Yellowjackets on their home court and extended the Statesmen's winning streak against UR to four straight games, marking the first time a Hobart graduating class has gone undefeated against Rochester since the teams first met back in 1902.

Muntner was third on the team with 12 points against the Yellowjackets. He made 4-of-5 from the floor and all four of his free throw attempts. Muntner has played in all six games this season, averaging 7.3 points and 2.2 assists per game. He's shooting 56% from the floor and 82.4% at the free throw line.

Hobart knocked Rochester from the ranks of the unbeaten behind a team-high 17 points and eight rebounds by Mordi. He was 6-of-9 from the floor with a 3-pointer and a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line. Through six games, Mordi is averaging 11.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He's shooting 56.1% from the field, 43.8% beyond the arc and 71.4% from the line.

Hobart has won five straight to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Statesmen return to action Friday, Dec. 5, when they begin Liberty League play at Bard (1-5) at 7:30 p.m.
