PITTSFORD, N.Y.— Sophomore
Duncan Kipkoech led the Hobart cross country team this afternoon with a ninth place finish out of 135 runners at the Rodenbeck Invitational hosted by St. John Fisher. Kipkoech's efforts led the Statesmen to a seventh-place team finish out of 10 teams.
Kipkoech stopped the clock at 19:50.0 in the 6-kilometer race to lead Hobart in its season-opening race. He was followed by classmate
Philip Dilgard-Clark who finished 57th with a time of 21:17.3. Senior
Sean Moran rounded out the top-three Statesmen finishers in 83rd place with a time of 22:08.0.
SUNY Geneseo finished on top of the team leaderboard after producing six top-10 finishers this afternoon. Buffalo's Cameron Bogdan was the event's individual medalist after finishing the 6k race with a time of 18:52.5.
