The Hobart golf team will head to Verona, New York, this weekend to compete in the Liberty League Men's Golf Championships. The three-day event will take place at Turning Stone Resort and Casino's Shenendoah Golf Course. The Statesmen will compete for the conference crown against No. 18 Rochester, RPI, Clarkson, NYU, St. Lawrence, and Skidmore.

Action is set to begin at noon on Friday and Saturday and will close out the weekend with the final round beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Fans who cannot make it to Verona can follow along with Live Stats.

Hobart is coming off an eighth place finish out of 17 teams at the Tim Brown Invitational two weeks ago. Three Statesmen finished in the top 25 in the 96-golfer field.

First-year Troy Gregg led the way with a 17th-place finish after coming in six over par. Sophomore Robby Kurzer and first-year Aman Dhiman tied for 21st place, both finishing seven over par on the weekend.

The Statesmen have put up an impressive team record this season, finishing in the top three in four of their six tournaments. Gregg and Dhiman lead the team with four top 10 finishes this season, while Kurzer adds three top 10 finishes.

This weekend, Troy Gregg, Aman Dhiman, Robby Kurzer, Gavin Poyer, and Andrew Murray will represent Hobart on the links.
