Seven members of the Hobart rowing team were named to the 2025 Empacher-Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Scholar-Athletes. Since 2021, the Statesmen have had 15 athletes earn 36 IRCA Scholar-Athlete Awards.

To be named an IRCA Scholar-Athlete, rowers and coxswins must be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility, have competed in one of the top three boats during the season or raced at the 2026 IRA Championships and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 through the fall semester. The IRCA recognized 676 rowers and coxswains, representing 48 programs.
