Statesmen to host Lycoming in NCAA Playoffs

The 23rd-ranked Hobart College football team will begin its fifth consecutive and seventh overall NCAA Tournament at home, when the Statesmen host Lycoming College on Nov. 22. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.

The NCAA mandates ticket prices of $8 for adults, $4 for students with proper ID from Hobart or Lycoming.

Hobart earned an automatic bid into this season's 32-team field by capturing its third consecutive and eighth overall Liberty League Championship. The Statesmen compiled an 8-1 overall record, including a 6-1 mark in the conference.

The Warriors also earned an automatic bid, capturing the Middle Atlantic Conference title with a 6-1 record. Lycoming brings a 7-3 overall record to Geneva.

Hobart is the No. 4 seed in the East Region, while the Warriors are the No. 5 seed. The winner will face the winner of the No. 1 Mount Union vs. No. 8 Randolph Macon.
