SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Hobart College rowing team posted a strong showing in all of the events it competed in today, and took home the Liberty League Championship for its efforts. This is the third consecutive conference title for the Statesmen.
The varsity eight, manned by sophomore Mike Talarico, junior Andrew O'Donnell, first-year
Andrew Cobb, junior Ben Ramsey, first-year
David Grossman, sophomore

Richard Klein, and senior
Andrew Meunier, dominated its race after a fast start, winning by 13 seconds.
The second varsity eight also won in convincing fashion, crossing the finish approximately 32 seconds ahead of the competition. The Statesmen 2V8 was powered by first-years

Hobart’s novice eight recorded a victory as well, looking strong as it defeated Vassar, while the varsity four finished second behind a solid Skidmore boat.
The Statesmen will be in action again May 3-4, when they travel to Whitney Point to compete in the New York State Championships.
