PITTSFORD, N.Y.—The Hobart College tennis team defeated Nazareth 6-3 today to improve to 4-14 on the season.

Kevin Kent (Trinity-Pawling, N.Y.) started the Statesmen off with a win at No. 1 singles, while first-year
Kevin Bates (Groton-Dunstable/Groton, Mass.) followed with a victory at No. 2. Senior
Adam Cohn (Hawken School/Highland Heights, Ohio), first-year
Mike Kofman (Newton South/Newton, Mass.), and first-year
Matt Hursh (Weston/Weston, Conn.) picked up wins at third, fourth, and fifth singles, respectively, for Hobart.
Cohn and Kofman also teamed up for a victory at No. 3 doubles.
The Statesmen will wrap up the 2008-09 schedule this weekend, April 18-19, when they host the Liberty League Tournament at the HWS Tennis Center and Bristol Field House.
