GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart tennis team swept Nazareth 9-0 in a match played at Bristol Field House tonight. The Statesmen improve to 4-4 this season, while the Golden Flyers are now 3-5 overall.

Alex James teamed up to defeat the Nazareth's Ryan McCormick and Bret Beaver at No. 1 doubles, 8-4. The duo of junior

Matt Chin secured an 8-3 victory at No. 2, and sophomore

Kevin Bates swept their Golden Flyer opponents at No. 3.
Grant faced the day's toughest competition at the top singles spot, edging McCormick 6-3, 2-6, 11-9. Hursh picked up his second win of the day 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2. DeLuccia cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 3 spot. At No. 4, James defeated the Nazareth's Adam Landry 6-3, 6-2, and Bates registered a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 5. Junior
Walter Green rounded out the singles lineup with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
Hobart will be back in action Saturday, March 26, when the Statesmen travel to take on The College of New Jersey at 11 a.m.
