GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart tennis team dropped a match to visiting Roberts Wesleyan 7-2 this afternoon in Bristol Field House. The Statesmen are now 6-9 this season, and the Raiders improve to 8-4 overall.

The duo of sophomore Bruce Grant and sophomore Alex James posted an 8-6 win at the top doubles spot. They defeated Aram Karapetyan and Enrique Flores 8-6. Grant and James improve their season record to 8-8. Junior Walter Green came out on top of a close match at No. 6 singles. He defeated Robin Lansiquot 6-1, 4-6, 10-5. It was Green's seventh victory this season.

The Statesmen will be back in action on Saturday, April 16 when they host St. John Fisher at 1 p.m.
