The William Smith squash team fell 8-1 to No. 30 Boston College this afternoon in an Epps Cup semifinal match. The No. 26 Herons are now 9-9 this season.

Sophomore Erin Casey picked up William Smith's lone victory at the No. 7 spot. She topped her competition 11-3, 11-8, 11-9. First-year Delaney Teceno, sophomore Justine Shank and senior Hannah Meyer battled at Nos. 2, 4, and 8, respectively, but each fell in five games.

The Herons will take on top-seeded Tufts who was upset by No. 28 Virgina 5-4 in its semifinal this afternoon. William Smith and the Jumbos will meet tomorrow, Feb. 23, at 8:30 a.m.
