GENEVA, N.Y. - The William Smith College swimming and diving team fell to Rochester Institute of Technology 144-94 in Bristol Pool this afternoon. Sophomore
Caroline Conboy led the way for the Herons notching two individual wins and swimming on a victorious relay.

William Smith (8-2) jumped out to an early lead notching a win in the 200-yard medley relay. The Herons relay, powered by, sophomore

Katie Storch turned in a time of 1:55.07, 21 hundredths of a second faster than RIT's "A" team. The William Smith "B" team of first-year

Ava Lillian earned third place points.

Storch's first individual win of the day came in the 200 freestyle. Her time of 2:02.14 was two seconds faster than RIT's Caitlin Foster. Storch added a second place finish in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:15.43. She dropped three seconds off of her personal best time that she swam on Saturday at the RPI Invitational. Â Brenna Woodling won the event for the Tiger's out touching Storch by two hundredths of a second.

Conboy collected the other two individual victories for William Smith. After falling behind in the butterfly leg, she went on to win the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:16.15. She narrowly missed the Bristol Pool record. Conboy continued her record setting season winning the 200 breaststroke with a new Bristol Pool record time of 2:26.34 blowing the field out of the water. She won the event by 15 seconds.

Bohl added second place finishes in the 50 freestyle and the 200 butterfly for the Herons. Â

William Smith won five events to RIT's eight. The Tigers finished in the top three spots in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. .

The Herons will be right back in Bristol Pool on Saturday, Jan. 24, when they host Cazenovia and Wells in a double dual meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.Â
