GENEVA, N.Y.- The William Smith College swimming and diving team dropped a dual meet to Ithaca 148-95 in Bristol Pool this evening. Junior

Kelley Mantz each had a hand in three victories for the Herons.
William Smith (2-1) opened the meet with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Sophomore
Katie Storch, Conboy, first-year
Nicole Katchis, and Mantz teamed up to touch the wall first with a winning time of 1:56.23.
Conboy's first individual win of the day came in the 200 freestyle. She turned in a winning time of 2:01.69. Storch finished right behind her in second place with a time of 2:01.78. Conboy also finished first in the 100 butterfly. She touched the wall with a time of 1:02.22. Katchis placed second with a time of 1:03.92. Swimming exhibition, Conboy touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.61. The time established a new Bristol Pool record.
Mantz, won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:21.75, little more than two seconds ahead of Ithaca's Casey Koenig. Mantz earned first place points in the 100 breaststroke. Storch also earned first place points with a 1:02.63 in the 100 backstroke.
In the 1000 free, Ithaca's Nilza Helena Costa finished first but Katchis and sophomore
Emily Haskins finished second and third respectively for William Smith. First-year
Therese Mandracchia finished second in the 50 free with a time of 26.97. Haskins placed second in the 100 free with a time of 58.88.
On the diving board, Ithaca's Anna Belson set Bristol Pool records on both the 1-meter and the 3-meter board. She turned in a score of 276.55 on the 1 meter and 269.50 on the 3 meter. Heron first-year
Emily Wilkinson posted season best scores of 173.45 on the 1 meter board and 167.75 on the 3 meter board.
William Smith will be back in the pool on Saturday, Nov. 14 when they travel to Cobleskill. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
