Three of Hobart College cross country's top five runners posted season-best 8-kilometer times as the Statesmen finished 35th of 44 teams at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships in Glassboro, N.J., this afternoon. First-year
William Fletcher led Hobart across the finish line.

Fletcher posted a time of 37:06.1 to finish 150th out of 303 runners. It was his season-best 8k, and the second time this season that he has been Hobart's top finisher. Classmate
Josh Wasserman logged a time of 27:57.2 for 201st, and first-year
Jesse Maltese registered a season-best 8k of 28:16.0 for 208th place. Junior
Josh Owens came in 244th place in 29:22.7, and first-year
Colby Chase logged a season-best time of 29:59.3 for 260th place. Seniors
Ryan Moore (269th-30:40.0, season-best 8k) and
Ray Ma (270th, 30:41.7) also represented Hobart in the final meet of their career.

Geneseo's Isaac Garcia-Cassani earned the individual title with a time of 24:15.8. The Knights also took home the team title with 51 points. RPI was second with 87 points and TCNJ claimed third with 169 points.

The top two teams in each race qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday, Nov. 19 at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. Sixteen other at-large bids will be awarded from the nation's eight regions. The top seven individuals from each region not on one of the qualifying teams will earn an invitation to the national championships.
