GENEVA, N.Y.- The Hobart College tennis team cruised to an 8-1 win over Division II Roberts Wesleyan in Bristol Field House this evening. The win improves the Statesmen to 5-3 on the season while the Redhawks fall to 11-8.

Alan Dubrovsky defeated Roberts Wesleyan's Hugo Ball-Greene and Dennis Barlotta 8-5. Salita and Dubrovsky are now 3-1 this season playing at the top of the lineup. At. No. 3, sophomore

Harry Nichols closed out doubles play with an 8-6 win.

Hobart clinched the match, winning five of the six singles matches. Dubrovsky continued his strong rookie campaign with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3 over the Redhawks' Dennis Barlotta. Â Dubrovsky is now 10-4 on the season with a 5-2 record in the third spot. Rusk topped Jose Carrillo 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5. Nichols secured the overall victory for the Statesmen with a 6-3, 7-5 victory at No. 4 singles. Atwater notched his team-leading 11th win of the season with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Hugo Ball-Greene at No. 1 singles. Salita closed out the match with a marathon win over Paul Langroek at No. 2 singles. Salita took the first set 7-6 (7-4), while Langroek won the second 7-6 (7-5). Salita won the match in the super tiebreaker 12-10.

Hobart will be back in action on Saturday, April 1, when it travels to Clinton, N.Y., to take on Hamilton. The match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
