The No. 23 William Smith squash team fell to No. 17 Dickinson 7-2 today in its first home match of the season at the Smith Squash Center.
 
The Herons are now 5-4 overall. The Red Devils improve to 2-7 on the season.
 
Sophomore Gabby Fraser defeated her Dickinson opponent 8-11, 11-9, 12-10, 8-11, 11-5 at the No. 1 spot. Sophomore Djeneba Ballo won by forfeit at No. 4.
 
The Herons are back in action tomorrow, Jan. 14, when they travel to take on Cornell at 5 p.m.
