Hobart College junior
Tristan Cornell Roberts was named the Liberty League Men's Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week by the conference office today. Senior goalie
Alec Kaminer earned a spot on the weekly honor roll.

Cornell Roberts netted a pair of game-winning goals for the Statesmen last week as they improved to 2-0-1 in conference play. On Wednesday, he scored the golden goal 40 seconds into the first overtime to lift Hobart over RIT 1-0. The goal was his first of the season. Against Bard, Cornell Roberts got the scoring started with a goal in the eighth minute. The strike was set up by a long crossing pass from seniorÂ
Derrick Acheampong, who found Cornell Roberts streaking toward the goal. Roberts collected the pass in stride, running down the right side of the field and beat Bard's keeper into the top right corner of the goal. The two goals vault Cornell Roberts into a tie for the team lead in goals.
Â
At the opposite end of the pitch, Kaminer did not allow a goal in just over 172 minutes of action last week. Against the Tigers, he posted his third shutout of the season, guiding Hobart to an overtime victory. Kaminer made four saves in the game. Against the Raptors, he made one stop in the opening 81:28. Kaminer has played nearly every minute in goal for the Statesmen this season. He is 3-4-2 on the season with a .860 save percentage and a 0.75 goals against average.
