Mia Morrison was named the Liberty League Women's Basketball Performer of the Week by the conference office today. She averaged 25.0 ppg and 15.0 rpg in a pair of league contests.

Morrison scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds on Friday as the Herons pushed RIT to the brink before falling 72-68. Morrison was 11-of-20 from the floor and 5-of-7 at the line against the Tigers. The following afternoon, she scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds to lead William Smith to a 76-69 overtime win against Ithaca. Morrison also played outstanding defense against the Bombers, limiting IC's leading scorer, Cassidy O'Malley, to a season-low five points.

Through 10 games, Morrison is averaging 19.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists. She's shooting .429 from the floor and .759 at the free throw line. Morrison ranks second in the conference in scoring, third in rebounding, sixth in free throw percentage, and eighth in field goal percentage. Including her performance against Ithaca, she has four double-doubles this season and 26 for her career.

In 82 career games, Morrison is averaging 15.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.5 steals. Over the past four contests, Morrison has vaulted up five spots on the William Smith career scoring list, landing at No. 5 with 1,292 points, five behind No. 4 Jill Brower '93. Morrison is ninth of the Herons' career rebounding list with 690, 14 behind No. 8
