ITHACA, N.Y. —Senior
Anna Leffler broke the William Smith College 200-yard freestyle record twice today during Day 2 of the Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships at Ithaca College's Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
Leffler broke the Heron 200 free record at last year's league championships, when she touched the wall at 1:56.05. In the morning prelims, she broke the record again qualifying for second place in the championship final in 1:55.0. In the finals, Leffler toppled her previous mark to 1:54.54 and finished third.

Katie Neff placed fifth in the 200 free relay championship final, finishing in 1:41.70.
In the 100 butterfly B final, sophomore
Robin Kirchgessner placed second with a season-best time of 1:00.49. Neff recorded a prelim time of 1:03.31, and recorded a personal-best time of 1:02.75 in the final. Senior
Caroline Nash posted a prelim time of 1:05.82, and finished third in the C final with a season-best time of 1:02.98.
The Herons earned a ninth place finish in the 400 medley relay. Junior
Elizabeth Fajardo, sophomore
Olympia Canales, Kirchgessner, and Nash posted a time of 4:23.04.
William Smith is in ninth place with two days remaining in the championship. The Herons have 242 points and are 22 points behind eighth place Clarkson (264) and are 124 points in front of tenth place Bard (118).
