Seven members of the Hobart and William Smith sailing teams were named to the 2019-20 Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) All-Academic sailing team. The announcement was delayed due to the pandemic.
To be eligible honorees must be a junior or a senior, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and be a starter or alternate in four regattas. A committee comprised of representatives from conferences in the ICSA evaluates the nominated sailors. The 2019-20 All-Academic team is comprised of 90 members.

Cox, Flaherty and Weber were also named to the ICSA All-Academic squad in 2018-19.
The Colleges had just begun the spring season, winning the George Washington Team Race when the season was cut short due to the pandemic. In the fall of 2019, HWS won six regattas including the David Lee Arnoff Trophy and the Luce Trophy on Seneca Lake.
