The Hobart and William Smith Colleges sailing team will host the eighth annual David Lee Arnoff Trophy Regatta on Seneca Lake at the Bozzuto Boathouse this weekend, Oct. 15-16. William Smith sailors will also be in Kings Point, New York, for the Women's Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championship.
Â
The home regatta is named after David Lee Arnoff '82, a loyal Hobart alum and passionate sailor who passed away unexpectedly in 2012. The event was renamed in David's honor in 2014 to celebrate his love of sailing and the Colleges. HWS has kept the trophy in Geneva, winning six of the previous seven Arnoff Trophy regattas. Last year, HWS dominated the regatta, placing first and second. The Colleges' top entry posted a dominant 40-point victory.
Will Murray and
Frances Depke won A Division with 42 points.
Eli Gleason and
Anna McBride were third in B Division with 55 points.
Â
The Herons will be at the Women's Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championship. William Smith earned a spot in the regatta with an eighth place finish at the Women's ACC Eliminations.

Fans who cannot make the trip to either regatta can follow the action on ICSA's tech scoring page.
