Daniel Barrientos led the Statesmen at the Don Richards Invitational held at RIT this weekend. The Statesmen placed 5th out of six teams at the two-day event. Barrientos placed top two in two different events, including a first-place finish from the 3-meter board.
Barrientos posted a score of 470.45 from the 3-meter diving board, earning him his ninth victory in his first season as a Statesmen. He then followed that up with a second-place finish from the 1-meter board, earning a score of 459.10.

Joseph Foster and
Jameson Ardis also represented Hobart at the Invitational, all participating in several events. All three Statesmen competed in the 50-yard freestyle, with Rajkarnikar posting a time of 25.37, Foster posting a time of 25.55 and Ardis posting a 29.08.
The Statesmen will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 14, when they take on SUNY Brockport in Bristol Pool at 1 p.m.
