The Hobart and William Smith swimming and diving teams will be back in action Saturday, Nov. 16, when they welcome conference foe, St. Lawrence to Geneva. Action against the Saints is set to start at 1 p.m. in Bristol Pool.

William Smith enters the weekend with a 3-1 record. The Herons are coming off a 160-140 loss to SUNY Oswego on Friday. First-year Fiona Garfield earned conference recognition, claiming a spot on the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll after claiming first and second place finishes in the 3-meter (185.35) and 1-meter (194.80) boards, respectively.

Sophomore Mackenzie Morus continued to shine for the Herons as she finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle and the 200 IM against the Lakers, along with a first-place finish with the 200 free relay team. First-years Amalia Olivieri and Kaleigh Boynton and junior Hali Seidberg stood victorious alongside Morus.

The Herons will take on a 2-1 Saints team that is coming off a 137-44 win over Bard on Saturday. It will be the fourth time in program history that William Smith and St. Lawrence go head-to-head. The Saints have won all previous meetings against the Herons, with the most recent meeting ending in a 148-78 win in Canton on Nov. 11, 2023.

Hobart enters the weekend with a 1-3 record and is coming off a 174-108 loss to Oswego last Saturday. Sophomore Christopher Woody was named to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll after leading the Statesmen in the loss. He posted three first-place finishes. Woody was victorious in the 50 backstroke (29.16), the 100 breaststroke (1:04.75), and the 200 medley relay (1:49.96).

Junior Daniel Barrientos accompanied Woody on the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll. Barrientos claimed two first-place finishes, earning a score of 244.75 in the 1-meter board, along with a score of 236.50 from the 3-meter board.

The Statesmen will take on a 1-2 Saints team that is coming off a 73-65 victory over Bard on Saturday. St. Lawrence holds a 2-0 edge in the series over Hobart, including a tight 83-81 win over the Statesmen in Canton last season. Barrientos led Hobart in the loss with two wins from the diving boards.
