Hobart first-year Caio Paiva was named the Liberty League Men's Squash Rookie of the Week this afternoon.
 
Paiva, a native of Sao Paolo, Brazil, won his collegiate debut at Hamilton. Playing at No. 2, Paiva beat Tobey Suratt, 7-11, 11-8, 11-6, 11-6.
 
The Statesmen (0-1) will be back in action on Nov. 21, when they take on Middlebury at 4:30 p.m. in Vermont.
