15 Herons earn NEHC All-Academic honors

Fifteen members of the William Smith hockey team were named the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic team today.
 
To be eligible for the NEHC All-Academic Team a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have completed one full year at her institution (first-years and first-year transfers are not eligible).

Ketchabaw, Legler, Murray and O'Neil were recognized for the third time while Howe picked up her second All-Academic honor.
 
William Smith finished the year with an 11-14-2 overall record. The Herons went 10-7-1 in the NEHC, finishing fifth. William Smith defeated UMass Boston in the quarterfinals before falling to Norwich 3-2 in three overtimes.
