Nine members of the William Smith ice hockey team were named Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association. Since 2017, 31 Herons have earned 53 All-American Scholar honors.

Now in its ninth year, the All-American Scholar program recognizes varsity ice hockey players who have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester during the 2024-25 season and appeared in at least 40% of their school's games.

The following Herons earned a spot on the team.

Four of the nine Herons are repeat recipients of the award. Ketchabaw was recognized for the third straight year. Gallagher, Heiser and Howe all won the award for the second time.

William Smith finished the year with an 11-14-2 overall record. The Herons went 10-7-1 in the NEHC, finishing fifth. William Smith advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament, falling to Norwich 3-2 in three overtimes.
