The Hobart and William Smith swimming and diving teams were selected as Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America this afternoon. This award recognizes these teams for their academic excellence during the 2025 fall semester.

The CSCAA selected 709 teams from 414 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams this semester. Those teams comprised 16,421 student-athletes. To earn the prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher during the semester.

William Smith was named a Scholar All-American Team for the 13th consecutive semester after its 24 student-athletes collectively earned a 3.45 GPA this fall. The Herons are 2-4 in dual meets to start the season and are coming off a fourth place showing at RPI's Kumpf Invitational last week.

Hobart earns its fourth Scholar All-American Team selection since its return to varsity status in 2022. The 15 Statesmen student-athletes collectively earned a collective GPA of 3.26 this fall. Hobart is 0-6 in dual meets this season and is coming off a sixth-place finish at the Bomber Invitational in December.

The Herons and Statesmen will be back in action Saturday, Jan. 24, when they travel to SUNY Brockport for their first dual meet of the semester. Action against the Golden Eagles is set for 1 p.m. in James B. Fulton Natatorium.
