Finley Crosby was named to the 2026 SUNYAC Women's Hockey All-Rookie team by the league office today.

Crosby is the seventh Heron to be named to a conference's all-rookie team. The Herons had five players recognized by the ECAC West/UCHC and one by the NEHC.

Crosby has played in all 26 games this season. She is tied for the team lead with 14 points on seven goals and seven assists. Crosby has three game-winning goals on the year, notching the deciding goal against Potsdam, Manhattanville and Morrisville. She has two multi-point games this year. On Wednesday, in the first round of the SUNYAC tournament, Crosby scored a goal and set up the game-tying goal with 29 seconds remaining in regulation. She has won 59 faceoffs this year and has 15 blocked shots.

William Smith (12-14-0) advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament with a dramatic 3-2 come-from-behind win in overtime against Canton. The Herons will hit the road on Saturday when they take on top-seeded and 13th-ranked Plattsburgh at 3 p.m. Tickets for Saturday's game are $5 and can be
