Fiona Garfield represented the Hobart and William Smith swimming & diving teams at the 2026 NCAA Diving Regionals over the weekend, which was held in RIT's Judson Pool.
Barrientos had a strong weekend for the Statesmen, finishing fourth on the 3-meter board and eighth on the 1-meter board. On Friday, he continued to impress from the 3-meter board as he secured a score of 502.25 to claim fourth place, just .25 points behind the third-place finisher from RIT. He then went on to earn a score of 403.05 from the 1-meter board Saturday, finishing eighth.
Garfield's first appearance at the NCAA Diving Regions was highlighted by a 19th place finish on the 3-meter board. She earned a score of 364.05 to finish 19th on Saturday. Additionally, Garfield placed 27th on the 1-meter board with a score of 321.20 to conclude her successful sophomore season.

The senior from Fulshear, Texas, Barrientos will wait to see if his results this weekend were strong enough to secure a spot at the 2026 NCAA National Championships. The national championship field will be announced Monday afternoon. More information will be announced as it becomes available.
