4 Herons elected to All-AMCC teams

Four members of the William Smith bowling team were elected to the 2025-26 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference teams. Senior Caitlyn Anschutz represented the Herons on the first team, while senior Michaela Morgan, junior Colleen Jump and sophomore Brooke Gervais earned a spot on the second team.
 
Anschutz earned all-conference honors for the first time this season. She was twice named the AMCC Bowler of the Week this year and was named to the ROC City Classic All-Tournament Team. Anschutz bowled a season-high 247 against Penn State Behrend on Feb. 15, which is the fourth highest game in program history. She also had two other games this season that rank in the top 30. Anschutz set the William Smith record for high game, bowling a 263 in a 2024 NCAA tournament win over Fayetteville State.
 
Anschutz entered the AMCC Championship, averaging 18.74 pins per frame with a 77.7 fill percentage and a team-high 313 strikes.
 
Morgan is a three-time All-AMCC selection, earning first team recognition in 2024 and 2025. She was named the AMCC Bowler of the Week after leading the Herons to a second-place finish at the DIII National Invitational. Morgan produced five of the top 20 games in William Smith history this season, including a season-high 242 against Carthage. Morgan recorded the second highest game in program history, registering a 248 against Arkansas State in the 2024 NCAA tournament.
 
Morgan entered the AMCC Championship averaging 18.45 pins per frame with a 78.5 fill percentage and 294 strikes.
 
Jump is a three-time AMCC selection, earning second team accolades last year and first team honors in 2024. She earned a spot on the Niagara Fall Open All-Tournament Team and was named the AMCC Bowler of the Week after leading the Herons to an 8-2 record, including a 937-897 upset of then No. 25 Niagara. Jump was also named to the AMCC All-Tournament Team this past weekend. She bowled five of the top 30 games in Heron history this season, including a career-high 247 against Alvernia on Friday.
 
Jump entered the AMCC Championship averaging 17.94 pins per frame with a 77.7 fill percentage and 244 strikes.

Gervais was named all-conference for the first time this season. She produced a career-high 248 against Augustana in January, tied for the second highest game in Heron history. Gervais also bowled a 232 against Hilbert in November.
 
Gervais entered the AMCC Championship averaging 17.96 pins per frame with a 77.2 fill percentage and 224 strikes.
 
William Smith finished the season with a 52-32 record, the most wins in a season in program history. The Herons finished third at the AMCC Championship, marking the third straight year they've finished in the top three.
