ITHACA, N.Y.—William Smith senior golfer Lauren Carlson shared medalist honors, carding an 85 in a dual match against Ithaca College this afternoon. However, the Bombers won the match 358-405.

Played at the par 72 Country Club of Ithaca, Carlson finished tied for the low round with the Bombers' Amanda Failla. Carlson was just two strokes off her personal record score for 18 holes.

Senior Brittany Furlong was the next Heron in the clubhouse, finishing seventh in the 14-golfer field. She was followed by senior Katrina Carey and sophomore Trilbey Smith.

The Herons will be back on the links on Sept. 11-12 when they compete in the St. Lawrence Invitational.
