GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart lacrosse home opener against Cornell, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25, has been postponed due to a snowstorm. No make up date has been set. The two teams were unable to agree on a game field for Sunday. They will continue to look for an agreeable date later in the season.

Geneva was hit with 2-3 inches of snow this morning. The game time temperature was 30 degrees with sustained winds of 30 miles per hour, dropping the temperature down to 15 degrees with the wind chill. Crews attempted to clear the FieldTurf of the Boz, but the snow was coming down so fast at times that they made little progress.
