The William Smith College swimming and diving team earned a pair of dual meet victories in Bristol Pool this afternoon. The Herons defeated Cobleskill 143.5-87.5 and topped Cazenovia 149-56. William Smith improves to 5-1 overall this season.
The Fighting Tigers women bested the Wildcats 126-104 and the men won 143.5 to 50.5.

Katie Storch each swam to two individual victories and were members of winning relay teams for William Smith.

Leah Jacob finished eight seconds back.
Rhoads won the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:23.08, six seconds faster than the second place finisher. Adams and Moreau finished in third and fourth place respectively. In the 100-yard freestyle, Rhoads turned in a time of 58.59. Swimming unofficially,
Kelsey McElwain and
Ava Lillian turned in the next two fastest times, but with the meet in hand, their swims did not count towards the Herons point total. Rhoads along with McElwain, Jacob and Lillian helped lift William Smith to a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Bohl added individual wins in the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard butterfly. She turned in a winning time of 26.77 in the 50. Burnett finished in third while Lillian finished in fourth. The Herons finished with the three fastest times in the 200-yard butterfly with Bohl's time of 2:21.16 leading the way. Adams and Burnett who turned in the next two fastest times, swam unofficially.
Storch's second victory came in the 1000-yard freestyle. Her time of 11:33.10 bested classmate and second place finisher
Phoebe Pohl by 17 seconds. Storch and Pohl also went 1-2 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Moreau and Haskins added individual wins for the Herons who had first place finishes in all but two events.
William Smith returns to the water Dec. 5-6 for the Liberty League Championships in Rochester, New York.
