GENEVA, N.Y.- The William Smith College swimming and diving team collected a pair of dual meet victories over Cazenovia and Cobleskill in Bristol Pool this afternoon. The Herons topped the Wildcats 141-74 and the Fighting Tigers 136-56. William Smith touched the wall first in every single event to improve to 5-1 in dual meets this year.

Kelsey McElwain teamed up to finish first with a time of 1:58.24 in the 200-yard medley relay, finishing six seconds ahead of Cobleskill. The Herons closed the meet with a victory in the 200 freestyle relay. Katchis, Bohl, sophomore
Kelley Mantz, and Nash cruised to an eight second victory, stopping the clock at 1:49.96.

Individually, Katchis' first win of the day came in the 1000 freestyle. She posted a time of 12:05.81, 39 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Junior
Gabrielle Aulwes-Zola earned third place points. Katchis also won the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:04.27. Nash finished second three seconds behind Katchis. Â Leffler's strong rookie season in the pool continued this afternoon when she won the 200 free, stopping the clock at 2:04.74. She also won the 100 backstroke by six seconds with a time of 1:03.48. Aulwes-Zola was third. Bohl won the 50 free by six-tenths of a second over sophomore
Therese Mandracchia. Bohl also won the 100 freestyle, posting a time of 57.71. Conboy cruised to a 10 second victory in the 200 individual medley with a winning time of 2:17.26. Mandracchia was a double winner on the diving board for William Smith. In the 1-meter competition, she posted a score of 200.40. Classmate
Hannah Schley was second with a score of 175.80. On the 3-meter board, Mandracchia scored 211.25 points to win by 50 points.

The Herons will return to competition Dec. 2-3 for the Liberty League Championships in Rochester, N.Y. Senior
Caroline Conboy is the reigning Liberty League Swimmer of the Meet after winning the 200 individual medley and the 100 and 200 breaststrokes at last year's championships.
