GENEVA, N.Y.-The William Smith College swimming and diving team swept its double dual meet with Cazenovia and Wells at Bristol Pool this afternoon. With the wins, the Herons finish the dual meet portion of their schedule with an 8-2 record. The win was Head Coach
Kelly Kisner's 200th dual meet victory at William Smith.

The Herons defeated the Wildcats 131-92 and the Express 154-60.

The Herons opened the meet with a bang, establishing a new Bristol Pool record in the 400-yard medley relay. Sophomore

Emily Haskins, and first-year
Molly Egan touched the wall with a time of 4:13.65. They lowered the previous record by 42-hundredths of a second.

Led by Leffler and Wilber, William Smith went on touch the wall first in all but three individual events. Leffler finished first in the 400 individual medley, stopping the clock at 4:55.17, just missing out on pool record pace. She pulled away from the field to win the event by 27 seconds. Senior
Kate Moreau was third with a time of 5:24.66. Leffler also won the 100 backstroke, posting a time of 1:03.63. First-year
Katie Neff was second, five seconds back. Wilber won the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke. In the fly, she paced the field with a time of 1:01.69. Wilber closed out the meet with a time of 1:12.82 in the breaststroke.

In the closest race of the day, Neff was out touched by sixth-hundredths of a second in the 1000 freestyle. Cazenovia's Mackenzy Nutter beat Neff to the wall. Senior
Ava Lillian was third with a time of 12:41.39. The Wildcats also finished first in the 200 freestyle. Despite losing her goggles, Egan was second with a time of 2:10.57. Egan came back to lead a 1-2 Heron finish in the 100 freestyle. She stopped the clock with a time of 55.94. Haskins was second, three seconds back. Haskins also finished second in the 500 freestyle, her final competitive event in Bristol Pool. She touched the wall at 5:45.06.

Therese Mandracchia touched the wall first in the 50 freestyle, posting a time of 27.20. Sophomore
Caroline Nash was third just over a second back.

Mandracchia also led the way for William Smith on the diving board. On the 1-meter board she had a six dive score of 198.75. First-year
Ruby Verbitsky was second, with a score of 175.25. Mandracchia also won the 3-meter board with a six dive score of 204.50. Verbitsky was second.

The win for Kisner was the 200th of her career at William Smith. She is the first Heron swimming and diving coach to compile 200 wins. Kisner is 200-94-1.

William Smith will be back in action next Saturday, Feb. 3, when it travels to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., for the Vassar Invitational.
