Twice as nice: Statesmen sweep ITA Northeast Regional

Box Score GENEVA, N.Y.-The Hobart College tennis team swept the titles at the 2018 ITA Northeast Regional Championships this weekend. Junior Alan Dubrovsky won the singles title and teamed up with sophomore Walker Anderson to capture the doubles title. With the victories Dubrovsky and Anderson advance to the 2018 ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Ga.
 
As the winner of the ITA Northeast Regional, Dubrovsky and Anderson earn All-American honors. Dubrovsky became Hobart's first All-American since Hobart Hall of Famer Adam Schapiro '96.  Dubrovsky is also the first Statesman to win the ITA Regional Championship since Shapiro won the Rolex Intercollegiate Tennis Championship in September of 1995. Dubrovsky and Anderson earn All-America doubles team honors.
